All about the Filly Inn
The Filly Inn is one of the most picturesque, cosy, traditional country inns you are ever likely to visit. It is renowned throughout the forest and beyond for its delicious freshly prepared home cooked food, wide selection of real ales and very friendly atmosphere.
Set on the edge of Setley Plain, on the main A337 road between Brockenhurst and Lymington, the Inn boasts a large accessible car parking area (large enough for coaches), beer garden and bed & breakfast rooms.
RESTAURANT
The Inn has an absolutely outstanding restaurant where in addition to an extensive selection of fine wines & ales, it offers a superb menu selection. Our award winning Head Chef, Andrew Havelock, has put together an outstanding menu which combines a fusion of modern and traditional styles. This and the relaxed but professional approach of the Filly team make it the perfect place to dine and relax. Portions are a good size so you don’t leave The Filly feeling hungry.
The Inn is very popular with locals and visitors alike where our excellent reputation is spreading fast. The Sunday carvery is particularly popular and many customers book the same table each week to ensure they don’t miss out on the superb food and relaxed atmosphere.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
We also cater for private functions both on and off the premises and will be only too happy to tailor a menu or buffet to suit your requirements. We have an attractive and flexible function room which can seat 40 guests comfortably and are able to accommodate, weddings, birthday parties, business fun days, team building events, barbeques/hog roasts, business/club meetings and many other different types of social and business event.
