The Filly Inn is truly in the heart of the New Forest. The location, only a mile form Brockenhurst, the food, sourced from local producers, the cask ales, brewed only a few miles away; all with the warmest of welcomes.
An imposing figure surrounded by far-reaching heathland, this coaching inn has provided refuge for weary travelers for many centuries. Now the freshly cooked food from local, seasonal produce is worth the journey alone.
Relax in over two acres of woodland garden that faces unspoiled open forest with its grazing ponies and herds of wild deer. Feel free to leave your car in our large car park whilst enjoying one of the beautiful adjoining forest walks through Setley Plain or Roydon Woods. Return to delicious home cooked food and a refreshing drink either on our large, south facing terrace or in the cosy, traditional sixteenth century inn.
